Kielder Fell Races have been running for more than 20 years. Due to access restrictions during the summer the 2 Kielder races will alternate in early March each year.

Kielder Borderer 2011 - Early March (date to TBA) 11:00 am from Kieder Castle, Kielder, Northumberland.  Tea and cakes for finishers.  17 (or so) miles, 3000ft (or so) (BM).  Partially marked at start and finish.  Navigational skills required.  This is remote countryside and you should be equipped for severe weather and be confident in remote, inhospitable terrain.  One of the few fell races offering the chance of international travel and possibly the remotest checkpoint of any fell race in England.  Come along and enjoy some of the finest bog and tussock.  Entry fee £5 payable on the day.  Registration open from 9:30.  Please note that there is a £3 parking charge if you use the FC car park at the event centre (nothing we can do about it!, sorry).

Grey's Pike,  March 2010 - 5 miles and 800ft of climb to the top of Greys Pike, easy to follow route with tapes.  A perfect race for an introduction to the delights of fell running in Northumberland.  Will be run next in early March 2010.
